Park Ridge, NJ – Farbest Brands is now offering two exciting new gum products, Gum Karaya and Syndeo S, both of which can be used as clean-label stabilizing agents.
Gum Karaya is a non-starch polysaccharide, 100% natural gum that exudes from the Sterculia tree. Thanks to a flash-heat method that reduce micros to food-grade qualities, it’s ideal for formulating coatings, fillings, dressing, stabilizers, and for using as a thickening agent. It’s also a soluble fiber, has high viscosity at low concentration, and is non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, and certified Kosher and Halal.
Syndeo S is a blend of Gum Karaya and Gum Acacia—the dried, gummy exudate from the stems and branches of Acacia Senegal or of other related African species of Acacia—and is ideal as a functional additive in food and drinks. Syndeo S is especially useful for its stabilizing properties and ability to improve texture.
Farbest has partnered with Alland & Robert to provide both of these gum products. Alland & Robert is based in Paris, France and offers its line of gum acacia and fiber gum acacia products globally.
